French vintage campaign Vigneron table

French provincial Vignerons table campaign style with fold up tilt top supported by gate leg action. Tables such as these were usually stored in the wine cellar or barrel room as they took up very little space when not in use. The table top is hinged and when required the base with its gateleg would spin 90 degrees and support the top beautifully. Original vintage french polish finish with oil cloth top. Ideal use as a wine table or occasional lamp table. Antique French provincial vignerons tables in this size did not exist in the 18th century, hence this early 20th century original.
