Tall pier cabinet bedside 1860 mahogany

Antique original Scandinavian tall pier cabinet or bedside cabinet in mahogany and flame mahogany with door drawer and internal shelf and working locks and a key 1845. The shaped top in original polished mahogany with a lovely patina. A full width drawer below the top with flame mahogany veneered front and gilt brass integrated handle and escutcheon keyhole . A shaped panel front door below with working lock and key. The shelf inside is removable and lifts out. Raised on turned front legs and block back feet. This Danish cabinet circa 1850 is of the late Biedermeier period
