Solid brass chandelier 18th cent Baroque

Antique 18th century original heavy solid polished brass chandelier with 8 cast solid brass arms. Each with cast solid scroll supports and heavy turned brass candle holders. Above these are a further eight cast brass arms with burnished refectors. Each arm is individually numbered and matched to a precise dovetail mount in the solid frame. The chandelier has not been electrified and works on candle power for a more romantic mood. A three link original suspension chain in brass is included. Originally this would have been attached to a pulley to replace the candles by lowering. Baroque
