Antique Biedermeier writing desk in the form of a secretaire abattant with fall front desktop. The superb quality craftsmanship is the ultimate in a Biedermeier desk carved and turned pilaster columns with corinthian capitals. It is beautifully veneered in book matched flame mahogany over wave front drawers etc. All drawers still retain their working locks and an original key and most of the original Mother of Pearl escutcheons keyholes .
