Empire chest of drawers mahogany 1820

Antique Swedish Empire chest of drawers in flame mahogany with architectural top original polish 1820. A beautiful minimalist design that is timeless in its elegance. The gorgeous pale flame mahogany top sits over an arch front moulding with four graduated sized stepped front drawers. The large bottom drawer curves outwards at the base to fit neatly onto the plinth like the foundations of a classic order temple. Good original french polished patina is a value point. All drawers open very smoothly as all drawer runners and glides have been serviced/replaced and waxed. S Sweden 1820
