Superb quality early Biedermeier period fall front secretaire desk. This beautiful bureau secretaire of 1820 period is the ultimate luxury in a Biedermeier desk. It is beautifully veneered in book matched pyramid flame mahogany. All four drawers still retain their original working locks. A working gilt bronze key is supplied to match. Empire brass round escutcheons and turned bronze handles adorne the elegant facade.
