Large French mahogany bureau plat desk

Antique French Louis Philippe solid mahogany bureau Plat writing desk brass handles and four drawers and original leather. A good French 19th century solid mahogany writing desk. The top with gilt tooled black leather insert in very good condition. The desk is fitted with four drawers. The central drawer with bronze handles lock and ormolu key to working lock is flanked by a pair of drawers to the left and a double fronted drawer to the right. Raised on turned and reeded legs. Good original french polished finish all round so it can stand in the centre of a room. Legroom 61cm high
