Antique hand painted wall hung Georgian oak corner cabinet commemorating the birth of George IV dated 1762.
The barrel fronted two door cabinet with 2 bow front doors on ornate brass hinges. The doors open with a steel key to working lock and reveal 3 shaped oak shelves inside.
Original hand painted with a triumphant scene of angels celebrating the birth of George Augustus Frederick on 12 August 1762. He would eventually inherit the British crown and become King George IV .
The new born is depicted in the arms of an angel presenting the youngest royal to King George III seated right
