Antique Empire glazed bookcase or display show case with 2 glass doors with four removable shelves. The cabinet exterior in hand painted white with carved gilt details. Two doors flanked by column pillasters to panel sides with traditional painted off white finish. The front with carved and gold leaf details. The doors open with a key to working lock and reveals a wide open space with four blonde wood shelves. The golden birch interior is a nice contrast to the painted exterior. Raised on taper legs in the Swedish neoclassical Gustavian manner
