Antique French Louis XV style marquetry inlaid three drawer serpentine fronted hallway or bedside chest known as a petite commode. Each drawer is pulled open with the ornate brass key keeping design elements to an elegant minimum. A key is supplied to working locks. The shaped sides with quarter panel inlays in satinwood and brazilian rosewood. Raised on elegant cabriole legs with brass sabot feet and shaped corners.
