Imressive antique Swedish birch 4 door bookcase with bevel edged glass ebonised detail 1820 Karl Johan period. This lareg dimension bookcase comes apart in two sections. An elegant ebonised top cornice over two tall glazed doors with astragal glazing and bevel edged glass panes. These open with an original steel key and working period locks and reveal adjustable height shelves. Two doors below with satin birch inlaid panels open with the same key. The body in two sections and with lovely lift off black marble ledge. Good original polish. Note: photographed on furniture movers dollys.
