Large antique chest of 5 drawers tallboy in solid oak with bronze handles escutcheons and key. An elegant chest of drawers that can store a huge amount but still retains its neoclassical gorgeousness. The gorgeous original patina to the solid oak rectangular body fitted with subtle frieze drawer veneered in burl birdeye elm. This opens with the traditional push pull key with working lock. Four solid oak drawers below with bronze ring pull handles. Raised on shaped cabriole legs traditional to 18th century Georgian era furniture. The architectural details include turned column corners.
