Georgian chest of drawers gilt handles

A gorgeous antique English Regency chest of drawers with gilt bronze handles. Each drawer is in mahogany and has original brass locks and escutcheons and cock beading to edges. The ornate gilt brass ormolu handles are or course original and highlight the good french polished finish mahogany. The mahogany top edge is dressed with crossgrain mahogany moulding. Note the absence of ornate mouldings hints to a more sober style and is almost Biedermeier in influence and very neoclassical. Beautiful original finish throughout and all drawers open very smoothly as we service all runners etc
