Rare Empire secretaire bookcase 1825

Antique Empire two height mahogany secretaire bookcase with curved glass doors and writing slope Southern Swedish Karl Johan period circa 1825 The upper glazed doors retain their hand blown glass which has a gently curvature to each pane almost bow front. Shelves are adjustable. A single drawer below with a central writing slope flanked by two compartments with slide back lids. The two panel doors below reveal a large storage area with a shelf. All surfaces retain their original blonde mahogany veneers in the much sought after desirable faded blonde mahogany. Scandinavian 1820's
