Rococo carved wood silver gilt mirror

Carved wood silver gilt framed mirror with acanthus scrolls and goodoriginal finish in the Italian rococo manner Although this hand carved fruitwood frame looks to be 1750's it dates from the first half of the 20th century. The unique design allows it to be hung landscape ( wide) or portrait ( tall) style with good solid mirror plate. Good original silver leaf patina.
