French Empire chandelier gilt bronze 8

Rare large antique French chandelier ceiling light in the Empire style 1925. Ormolu hanging chandelier with 8 mask head and acanthus scroll arms with ormolu candle holders and original bronze details. This chandelier would originally have hung from a chain to the ceiling cup so its hanging length can be increased as required. Well cast in solid bronze and brass with patinated bronze finished dish and recently rewired in for electricity. As with all hard wired light fittings it will be necessary for your licensed Australian electrician to install and certify it is safe to use.
