Inlaid French Empire chairs 1815 Danish

French Empire side chairs with gorgeous backs. These two close matched Scandinavian original desk chairs in solid mahogany with flame mahogany back splats. Upholstered in hand knotted wookwork blue and white to drop on seats ( they lift off for easy recovering but are nice and sturdy. Raised on elegant turned front legs and sabre rear legs. Good original patina polish circa 1815. Excellent modern seat height of 49cm. Upholstered seats lift up off the polished mahogany frames and are very easily recovered in your favourite fabric, just wrap and pin from underneath.. Good sturdy chairs
