Gilt bronze Buddha Guan Yin statue

Antique Gilt Bronze Guan Yin Buddha goddess statue in gilt bronze with gilt tara and on lotus flower pedestal seat. This finely worked and chiselled bronze figure of the Bodhisattva goddess with original gilt finish of traditional Tibetan design. This is a one off casting using the traditional lost wax technique. The seated Guanyin Buddha on a shaped pedestal and traditional lotus flower base. The base of the statue is sealed and although heavy for its size it appears to be a hollow cast inside.
