Pair Swiss Alps Chalet chairs with superb marquetry inlay and ornate carved walnut structure. The superb carved backs in one solid piece of walnut with heraldic shield centres of ebonized panel and fruitwood inlay with black forrest scenery. Made for show rather than use these gorgeous hall chairs were never upholstered but depict the Chalet lifestyle with the Alps in spring and summer.
