Antique sideboard cabinet full leather

Full leather clad antique Italian Renaissance sideboard bureau with secret drawer and great patina. Made of walnut and fruitwood this rare sideboard in the renaissance manner is entirely covered in finely worked leather applied over solid walnut frame. The top drawer opens with a steel key and folds open to reveal a writing surface with fitted interior. Two leather panelled doors below open to a vast interior. A secret full width drawer is fitted to the plinth base. This rare antique piece was probably bespoke made to match a 16th century original in a Milanese mansion. French or Italian
