Rare French Empire mirror columns 1815

Austrian Empire trumeau mirror with ebonised pilasters and carved gilt capitals surrounding original mirror. In good original condition , the fruitwood and ebonised finishes contrast nicely. This is a provincial made Empire period mirror and the original mirror glass would have cost so much more than the frame. Possibly made as a loving Biedermeier gift for a bride to be.
