The dome top shape is solid heavy spruce pine with original wrought iron lock working key and escutcheon.
Two ornate wrought iron carry handles are mounted at the ends.
An internal hinged wooden stay assists with holding the lid open in place.
These gorgeous antique dome top trunks are usually given to the bride and groom upon their wedding and was lovingly hand made usually by a member of the family with the date.
