Empire pier cabinet 1820 Schinkel design

Neoclassical Empire pier cabinet 1 door 1 drawers with bronze escutcheons and flame mahogany. all original french polished finish. The solid mahogany cabinet with flame mahogany panel door. This door opens with a key as does the drawer above. Elegant double mouldings around the the body is in the traditional of the famous Berlin architect K F Schinkel (1781-1841). The whole raised on elegant shaped plinth base in the Neoclassical manner. The drawer opens smoothly and the locks are all working with an original key supplied. Good original french polished shellac patina.
