Tall Empire pier wall mirror inlaid 1815

Original Empire wall mirror in mahogany inlaid in string satinwood circa 1815. Well designed with architectural pediment. The mahogany vertically veneered surface inlaid with satinwood marquetry stringing. The large mirror insert with original hand drawn glass. This original mirror glass is a value point as the glass was usually far more expensive, due to technical limitations at the time, than the frame that surrounded it..
