Carved Italian walnut Empire armchairs vintage tapestry upholstery With elegant pierced Gothic arcaded backrest The armrests are very ergonomic with curved support ideal for desk work. Raised on elegant shaped taper legs and beautifully french polished patina. The seat has been upholstered some time ago in a vintage faded tapestry style fabric with minor wear consistent with age and use. Good to use as is but I would recommend recovering in an Art Deco striped fabric to really enhance these chair's appeal. Italian 20th century in the Art Deco manner of 1920 Priced as a pair
