Rare Regency 1815 writing desk original

Antique Regency period carved pedestal desk in full mahogany with leather insert top 7 drawers original 1815. The desk top with tooled gilt edge green leather top with a lovely well cared for patina polished all round. A central drawer with brass original steel key and push pull opening mechanism that also centrally locks all the drawers when closed. This drawer is flanked by three graduated size drawers per side. All drawers open smoothly and are in full mahogany with hand cut dovetail joints. Below the centre drawer and set back into the kneehole is a double door cabinet
