Rare Empire Louis Philippe porphyry marble top chest of 4 drawers original finish marquetry inlaid ormolu column front with full turned blonde wood columns. A full width frieze drawer below the solid red porphyry marble top. Three further drawers with ornate bronze empire knobs are flanked by full turned columns with ormolu capitals and bases. All drawers are fitted with original working locks and a bronze eagle empire key is supplied. Raised on elegant turned legs. Good original patina finish in excellent condition.
