Walnut marquetry bureau desk baroque

Blonde baroque walnut bureau desk with ornate marquetry and silvered bronze handles fitted interior. This gorgeous desk is beautifully veneered in ornate marquetry panels to front sides and interiors. The finish has aged beautifully and is in a faded 17th century manner. The ornate carved fall front desk is opened with an ornate silvered key to reveal a fitted interior with drawers and central door. Please note that period desks of the early 18th century did not exist in these proportions hence this bespoke made mid 20th century example fits the decorators requirements.
