Chippendale pedestal desk leather inlaid

Solid mahogany Georgian Chippendale style pedestal desk carved details brass handles and original gilt edge tooled leather top. The ornate carved moulding surrounds the original gilt tooled cigar leather top . one side with four drawers the other with three having a double depth sized drawer at the base. Raised on ornate carved claw and ball feet this impressive desk is polished all round and can stand in the middle of a room. All drawers open very smoothly and all slides waxed well. Wonderful warm original patina. Early 20th century in the mid 18th century manner .
