French Empire sideboard console table

French Empire marble top console or servery table with brass details and mahogany construction . Napoleon III mid 1850's. The pireced brass gallery surround to the old marble top with slight staining and wear. This top lifts off the base that is fitted with two drawers with brass moldings and handles. Raised on turned and fluted columns and with lower platform base to turned mahogany feet with brass details. Good original french polished patina. The marble top with some staining and wear has had the brass gallery glued on at some point ...possibly to prevent moisture escaping down
