Early Regency dining table in solid mahogany raised on carved sabre legs and brass claw castors circa 1825
Of larger than usual size this table
it seats up to 8 persons and is in solid honduras mahogany.
It is rare to find such a good large table and with four sturdy instead of the usual three sabre legs.
The carved legs with solid brass castors join the turned central column.
The top tilts up and has its original working brass snap lock to hold the top down nice and sturdy. Tables such as these allow lots of legroom underneath.
