Early Regency fold over games table in solid mahogany with carved Thomas Hope acanthus scrolls. Raised on turned column carved sabre legs and brass claw castors circa 1815
The flame mahogany top rotated and hinges open resting on the main body with hidden storage inside. The ornate carved acanthus scrolls makes this a very fine piece of Regency period furniture. Ideal proportions as a hall table or console.
The carved legs with solid brass castors joining the turned central column.
Tables such as these allow lots of legroom underneath.
