Antique bow front chest of drawers 1825

An antique Danish Empire bow front chest of 4 drawers. The solid oak curved front or bow front body with crossbanded molding. Top drawer usually reserved for finery of shallow design with working key and lock. All drawers are fitted with original steel locks and with brass neoclassical head handles in the Empire manner . Raised on chamfered tapering legs to front and block back legs. This gorgeous Empire period chest would suit many uses and is perfect for hallways or bedsides. Good original patina finish.
