Well carved architectural pelmet with a curved pediment to the top and with shaped corners is typical of the Georgian Chippendale period of the 18th century .
The single bevel edged mirror door with flame mahogany panel. The door opens with a key and a turn knob lock to reveal a large open space inside with original silk lining. a hanging rail is fitted under an upper shelf and original brass hooks.
The door is flanked by carved ornate acanthus florettes and framing.
