Pair of Regency chairs in solid honduras mahogany English 19th century Regency curved solid mahogany back back with carved X frame back splat and reeded sides. These chairs have an elegant curved backrest for comfort.. Raised on turned reeded front legs and sabre rear legs. Beautifully upholstered in striped fabric and in suitable seat height for modern living of 45cm . In good strong and sturdy condition, one chair dates from the period 1820 with minor restorations, the other dates from 1890. Original french polished patina finish.
