small chest of 3 drawers with ornate marble top and ormolu mounts. The serpentine front shape with three shallow drawers with ormolu ring pull handles. Raised on elegant cabriole legs with canted corners and terminating with brass sabot feet. In the French Louis manner, this example is smaller than any original available in the 18th century. It has been beautifully bespoke made to fit the requirements for smaller modern living and interior design aesthetics. The use of exquisite timbers and high-quality craftsmanship set this occasional chest apart from lesser quality imitations.
