Rare Swedish 1750's baroque period drop leaf table raised on carved and turned legs.
The solid oak plank top of demi lune shape rests firmly on three sturdy legs. The legs in the baroque manner with carved and turned twist columns joined by wooden stretchers.
One back leg is beautifully designed and carved as a hidden double leg. With original wrought iron hinges and clasp this gate leg opens and supports the drop side to form a large circular dining table.
Ideal as a hall table or console. Original waxed finish patina. Original Scandinavian 1750's
