Empire armchair marquetry inlaid back

Rare Empire desk chair armchair with inlaid neoclassical designs back and scroll carved armrests . This armchair is finely made of solid mahogany with neoclassical satinwood inlaid Diana designs in the Empire style . The scrolling armrests flow tenderly towards the front legs and and are raised by turned shape columns. Raised on elegant taper inlaid legs to front and sabre legs to back. A good seat height of 48cm nicely covered in a vintage duck egg blue velvet fabric. Springs under the seat give extra comfort. Danish Circa 1900-1910 in the French Empire manner
