Rare antique Georgian tambour top desk with pull out leather writing surface circa 1790.
The tambour rolltop desk unlocks with a steel key and opens with brass knobs. The tambour slides back into the cabinet to reveal a desk top that is locked into place by flush mounted sliding bolts to each side. The desk top pulls forward and has an olive green gilt tooled leather surface. This surface may be raised and is supported underneath with adjustable ratchet.
The interior is fitted with various pigeon holes and flanked by two drawers with false front drawers below.
