Impressive carved renaissance armchair with superb Baroque carvings woven rattan back 1880. The back with carved putto flanking a cornucopia urn. Below this is an oval frame back rest filled with woven rattan . The backrest with barley twist columns in the Carolean or jacobean manner. Gorgeous carved scroll armrests add to the important pressence of this beautiful armchair. A large velvet upholstered drop in seat completes this chair for comfort .
