London signed John Goodchild etching

Original copper etching The London Pool signed by artist John Goodchild and dated in pencil lower left. Entitled "The Pool , London " In wooden frame and under glass. Born London England 30th March 1898. He arrived in Australia in 1913. Painter, etcher, & art teacher. Taught at the London School of Arts and crafts. A well known Australian etcher represented in all major Australian institutional collections. Goodchild travelled between london and Adelaide several times. He held important positions in Adelaide including Museum of Art and National Gallery of South Australia 1.9 Kg
