Set of 4 Roman Emperors engravings frame

Set of 4 engravings Antique Roman Emperors coins in gilt frames after Jegher-Goltzius woodcuts of the 17th century. Mounted under glass and in gilt frame. These are reprints of the original chiarusco woodcut (with brown tone) combined with a line etching, on a verge type hand laid paper. The original print originates from an edition of Hubert Goltzius' 'Icones Imperatorum Romanorum' (this edition is not dated). The first edition of this work was published between 1557 and 1560 in Antwerp by J. Coppens van Diest. All four are framed and under glass....... priced as a set not per each
