French Empire chest of drawers marble

Antique French Empire chest of 4 drawers with marble top. Each drawer with gilt bronze ormolu pull handles and escutcheons and complete with working locks and a key. Four graduated sized drawers opens very smoothly as all runners and guides have been adjusted and replaced where necessary. The drawers with ornate feature flame mahogany veneer. This cute chest is of smaller proportions than those of an English type so would have been made in France and of the Louis Phillipe period ( 1830-1848) . The whole raised on turned front legs and block back legs. In beautiful condition throughout.
