Antique early Victorian kidney shaped writing table in walnut with original gilt leather inlaid top 1845. The burl walnut kidney shaped top with original gilt edge tooled green leather inlay and with ornate carved border. Supported on two turned and carved walnut columns over ornate carved scroll legs joined by a turned stretcher. Raised on four carved legs that terminate with ceramic porcelain castors. This allows the desk to be easily moved so as to catch the daylight from your Victorian windows. Polished all round so it can stand in the centre of a room. Legroom clearance 65cm
